We are an accredited tuition-free public charter school serving grades K-5. Our school was one of the first charter schools to open in Broward County in 1997 and has been previously ranked as one of the highest performing schools in the district and state.
The Charter Schools of Excellence are tuition-free, public charter schools that offer students in grades K-5 the chance to excel academically and personally. Our schools provide an outstanding academic curriculum, character education and individual attention to each student. We are accredited through AdvancED.
The Charter Schools of Excellence™ - Fort Lauderdale was named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2008 by the U.S. Department of Education and has received a grade of “A” from the state nine years in a row. The Charter Schools of Excellence™ - Fort Lauderdale has been the recipient of many awards and special recognitions.
